Bighorn

9x12in acrylic on primed paper (matted to 7x10in)

My family and I just got back from the local desert with some friends. And one of the moments that made this trip so special was the fact that as soon as we parked, a family of Bighorn Sheep made their way near our camp! While these sheep are wild all over the US, I think it is so special that they’ve adapted even to the arid regions we live by. They come down into the camp because of the natural running springs. It must be their R&R location. Funny enough, that’s the same reason we go!
