Have you ever been in seasons where you just need to get somewhere quiet with a really nice view, like a mountain, a lake, an ocean - something that draws you in? I’m definitely feeling that right now. This painting exemplifies the sort of place I’d want to sit at to think and pray.
It is no wonder we feel this way. Jesus himself would always get away from the crowds and get time alone on a mountain to pray. If he showed us that example, dollars-to-donuts that is something we all would benefit from practicing! Do you need a place to escape the noise and reconnect?
