This painting is based off of the “Red Giant” or the Giant Pacific Octopus. I love Octopodes (yes, that is the plural for octopus) I’ve painted at least 5 and have illustrated dozens. I’m not sure why I am drawn to them so much. Maybe it is because of their mysterious and strange nature. They sure are an anomaly in creation! Are you drawn to these creatures in the same way I am?
