This Violet Sabrewing is a part of the hummingbird family located all across a few Central American countries, including southern Mexico. This beautiful purple hummingbird stands out against the bright green canopy that he flits about in. What is not to love about hummingbirds? They are flying jewels that pretend they are insects by collecting nectar and have a beating wing similar to a bee. They are small but mighty!
