“Majestic”

Orcas are my fave. Ask anyone who knows me well enough.

For most of my life they were my favorite of ALL creatures, but that was before my love for birds erupted in my 30s haha. (Apparently that’s a common occurrence!) Anyways, they are hard not to like, they are definitely majestic! They have a beautiful pattern, they are the mob bosses of the sea, they are playful, family oriented and they are the top of the food chain! (That we know of)

Living in San Diego is a special place regarding orcas. If you’ve ever been to the “Orca Experience” or the “Shamu Show” (if you’re older) you may have been impacted by Killer Whales like me. I’ve seen these shows a few times growing up and EVERY time I grow in my appreciation for these powerhouses!

And here’s a little fun fact - they’re actually dolphins!
