“A Fall In Fall”
9x12in acrylic on primed paper (matted to 7x10)
There are fewer noises in the world I like better than a waterfall. Whether you are talking about a roaring cascade or a bubbling trickle, waterfalls have a special place in my heart. Growing up, I would spend time down by a local creek and find the small waterfalls - they were a great place to sit and think. I imagine this rapidly flowing fall would be ideal for sitting by and thinking or praying. Would you do the same? This painting also has my fingerprint subtly placed in the middle of the waterfall, I find that nice and poetic haha.
This painting utilized the Zorn palette (Yellow Ochre, Red, White, and Ivory Black) It also comes with a wooden picture frame that complements it well.
