When life blows, fly a kite 🪁

The original fable is a wager between the wind and the sun, in which they try to get a man to take off his coat, the wind blew, but the man held on to his coat, where the sun simply persuaded him by the heat. It’s a simple lesson of persuasion is better than coercion.

MY TAKE is a bit different, while I like the original story, mine shows the resilient spirit of the person. While one person may curse the windy day, not so this man! He takes it as an opportunity to fly a kite! I want to be more like this person; someone who is unshaken by trials and takes an optimistic look at life. Do you need to let go? Do you need a reminder to “fly a kite” on a “blustery day”? This painting may be for you.
